Terms and Conditions of Booking

1. Booking Confirmation: Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of 50% of the total accommodation cost. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to arrival. Keys will not be provided unless the full payment has been received. Payments should be made to:

2. Minimum Stay Requirement: Ballito letting reserves the right to impose a minimum stay requirement for certain units or during specific seasons.

3. Cancellation Policy:

o Cancellations made 3 months or more before the arrival date will receive a full refund.

o Cancellations made between 3 months and 2 weeks before arrival will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.

o Cancellations made within 2 weeks of arrival are non-refundable unless the unit is re-let for the same period.

o No refunds will be given for early departures.

4. Check-In and Check-Out:

o Check-in time is from 14:00.

o Check-out time is no later than 10:00, unless otherwise arranged. Early check-ins or late check-outs must be arranged at least 2 days in advance.

5. Key Collection: All keys must be collected from and returned to our office at 29 Sandra Road Keys must not be left with security or cleaning staff.

6. Tenant Responsibility: Tenants are liable for any losses, damages, or misconduct due to negligence or violation of complex or body corporate rules.

7. Eviction for Misconduct: Any misbehavior or disturbances will result in immediate eviction.

8. Safety: Tenants are responsible for their own safety.

9. Security Measures: It is strongly advised to activate alarms where applicable.

10. Pets: No pets or birds are allowed in any of the units.

11. Matric Rage Bookings: Matric Rage bookings are not permitted. Keys will not be handed to students whose bookings were made by parents. If students are found in a unit, they will be evicted without a refund.

12. Overcrowding: Overcrowding is strictly prohibited. The number of occupants (including children) must not exceed the number of available beds. Overcrowding will result in eviction.

13. Day Visitors: No day visitors are allowed in the booked accommodation or on the complex premises.

14. Substitute Accommodation: In the event the original unit is no longer available or inhabitable, Ballito Letting reserves the right to provide alternative accommodation of similar standard.

15. Condition of Property: Prior to departure, please ensure the property is locked and left in the same condition as it was upon arrival.

16. Appliances: Ballito letting takes care to ensure all TVs and appliances are in working order. Please report any faulty appliances or maintenance issues to our reception immediately for prompt attention. Air conditioners are serviced twice a year; in the event of a fault that cannot be repaired, tenants may opt to depart and will be refunded for the remaining days.

17. Unit Descriptions: Full descriptions of units are available on our website. Please review all details before booking. No substitutions of accommodation or appliances will be made if they are not listed in the description.

18. Contact Information: By making a deposit, you consent to your contact details being shared with the property owner.

19. Lost Property: Ballito letting is not responsible for items left behind after departure. Lost items must be collected, or arrangements made for courier pickup. Lost property will be held for one week before being donated.

20. Subletting and Assignment: The client may not assign rights or sublet the premises in whole or part to any third party.
